Experience:
I have been working in the field of aging since 1991. My area of focus has been dementia and working with individuals and their families. I started and managed the Lutheran Home Adult Day Services for 13 years and started Wisconsin’s first early stage dementia program.

Personal Statement:
I strive to meet the needs of my clients looking at all areas of their life and enjoy assisting individuals and families find the resources that are needed to maintain their health and happiness.

Pam Preston

Experience:
I have worked with older adults and their families for over 20 years, primarily supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and other memory impairments.  I served as Administrator of memory care communities in California, Illinois and Wisconsin and am on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association.  Additional leadership roles allowed me to counsel and support residents and families, and to establish strong partnerships with health systems in Arizona, Illinois and Wisconsin. 

Personal Statement:
While in senior living, I had the opportunity to work alongside care managers and caregivers from Stowell and always had such respect for their incredible mission, talent and professionalism.  It is an honor to be part of a  group that truly makes a difference in people’s lives every day.

My professional experience as a Social Worker and a facility administrator has broadened my scope of practice in serving elders, as well as clients of any age, with physical and mental health issues that impact functioning. My leadership in the field of aging and long-term care has given me the necessary skills to effectively care manage adults with varying needs from placement needs, to mental and physical health care needs as well as the ability to navigate through a client’s complex life and family needs.
